MyHealthily is looking for a QA Lead with experience testing web applications, and automating end to end testing!

The Role

MyHealthily is looking for someone with a passion for testing modern, state of the art web applications. We are seeking a full time employee, with experience testing and verifying web application features, writing test protocols, and automating end to end testing. We are looking for some with some mix of the following skills:

  • End to End test automation development (Cypress, Playwright)
  • Manually testing new features, and identifying bugs
  • Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Understanding of testing protocols
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

The ideal candidate will have experience in many of these areas (not necessarily all). We are looking for an advocate of best practices and someone who is willing to be opinionated about what they believe in when it comes to building successful programming projects. The ideal candidate will be able to discuss requirements, provide feedback, and educate developers on QA best practices.

MyHealthily is a fully distributed company, so you can work from anywhere, but we ask that you be able to commit to at least 5 hours of overlap with New York time (ET), Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Do

  • Build out an automated end to end test suite.
  • Work with team members to test new features for large, distributed systems.
  • Write clear, precise change tickets based on issues identified.
  • Participate in team and company retrospectives to help define and refine working agreements and processes to help us work more effectively together as a team.
  • Work with developers to define requirements and interoperability.
  • Validate ticket completion based on developer notes
  • Work with the Product Manager and Designers to help define and test a final product.
  • Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record of testing and automating digital products and services.
  • 2+ years experience performing QA for a software application.
  • 2+ years experience implementing end to end test automation suites.
  • An obvious drive to grow and learn from the highly-skilled team around you.
  • Experience and/or a desire to work remotely.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, while communicating with your team members.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Linear, Jira)

It’d Be Nice if You Also Had

  • Understanding of backend performance.
  • Understanding of UX/UI Design and atomic design systems.
  • Experience with Serverless technologies (Lambda, etc).
  • Experience in working with and testing web APIs
  • Experience working on a project integrating many different languages or components.
  • General comfort with Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools, such as Jira and Confluence.

Job Description

In this entry-level role, you’ll help to position MyHealthily for continued growth through the creation of engaging content and marketing material. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your experience and expertise toward co-creating and executing a content strategy that fosters meaningful relationships and drives users.

Responsibility Highlights

  • Strategize, write, and develop branded content and creative copy for blogs, website, email marketing, social media, advertisements, news releases, articles, white papers, reports, podcasts, etc.
  • Apply best practices to content development, including research, delivery, and optimization through content marketing strategies and best practices, campaign strategy, client/industry research and assets, storytelling, conversion techniques, creative copywriting, SEO, brand tone and voice, etc.

  • Ability to change stylistic voice depending on the client/assignment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking and time management
  • Has a good understanding of social media posting process, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse employee and customer populations.
  • Extensive use of MS Suite, including Teams, Canva, Biteable, or other video editing platforms, and the ability and willingness to learn and use additional technology-based programs.
  • Portfolio of prior content marketing/content writing samples required.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing technologies.
